At its core, the Family Fun Day is about entry-level motorsport, giving everyday people the chance to experience the thrill of being on track in a safe, controlled environment. The event showcases accessible motorsport activities such as passenger laps, show ‘n’ shine displays, and track parades, all designed to encourage participation from newcomers who

have always dreamed of taking part but never had the opportunity.

By focusing on motorsport for everyone, the event aims to ignite passion, confidence, and community connection, showing that motorsport isn’t just for professionals or big budgets, but for families, enthusiasts, and local heroes.

Building on Proven Success

Following on from the enormously successful Family Fun Day held in April this year, this event promises to be even bigger and better, with more cars, more attractions, and an even stronger community atmosphere. The overwhelming response and enthusiasm from attendees and participants have inspired the expansion of this year’s program to deliver an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Supporting Attractions

To complement the motorsport action, the One Nation Family Fun Day features a dynamic mix of other sports and entertainment, including:

  • Arm Wrestling Challenges – open competitions and demonstrations from experienced athletes.

  • Strongman Events – truck pulls and tug-of-war challenges to thrill the crowd.

  • Family Activities – kids’ zone, local food vendors, community stalls, and live entertainment.

These additions ensure there’s something for everyone, whether they come for the cars, the strength contests, or the family atmosphere.

Purpose and Community Impact

The event serves as both a celebration of local community spirit and a platform for promoting grassroots sport and healthy lifestyles. It aligns with One Nation’s values of supporting Australian families, small businesses, and the revival of community-based events that bring people together.

Proceeds and sponsorship opportunities will help support future community events and build ongoing programs that encourage participation in motorsport and related physical activities across South Australia.

In Summary

The One Nation Family Fun Day is more than just an event, it’s a movement to reignite community spirit, open the gates to motorsport for all, and celebrate Australian strength, resilience, and unity. From the rumble of engines to the roar of the crowd, it’s a day where everyone can be part of the action.

One Nation Family Fun Day – Frequently Asked Questions

What is the One Nation Family Fun Day?

The One Nation Family Fun Day is an entry-level motorsport event designed to give everyday people the chance to experience being on track in a safe, controlled environment. The day features on-track cruising, show ‘n’ shine displays, family activities, and supporting attractions, making it suitable for families, car enthusiasts, and newcomers to motorsport.

Where is the event held?

The event will be held at Adelaide International Raceway.

Is there an entry fee for spectators?

No. General admission is free for spectators. Families, friends, and supporters are welcome to attend at no cost.

How much does it cost to drive on the track?

Driver runs are $25 per run.

Each driver run ticket includes:

  • One driver

  • One vehicle

  • One on-track run

Drivers may purchase multiple runs if they wish.

Do I need a special car or race licence?

No. This is an entry-level event.
Street cars are welcome, and no race licence is required. All drivers must follow marshal instructions and venue safety requirements.

What You’ll Need to Complete Your Ticket

Before starting your ticket purchase, please allow a few minutes and have all required information ready. Once you begin checkout, your selected ticket is temporarily reserved for 30 minutes, and if the process is not completed within that time the ticket will be released back for sale. You will be asked to provide your personal details including first and last name, email address, phone number, residential address, city, state, country, postal code, and date of birth. You will also need your full legal name as shown on your driver’s licence, your driver’s licence number and expiry date, along with vehicle details such as car make, model, colour, and engine capacity. For safety and insurance purposes, passenger details are also required, including the number of passengers, the full name of each passenger, and the age of each passenger, including minors. Having this information ready before you start will help ensure a smooth and quick checkout experience.

How do run groups work?

Driver tickets are allocated to numbered run groups to help manage flow and safety.

  • Run group times are indicative only

  • Run groups are called in order on the day

  • Times may move due to safety or operational requirements

Your ticket guarantees one run, not a fixed clock time.

Are run groups limited?

Yes. Each run group is strictly capped at 30 vehicles.

Once a run group reaches its limit, it will sell out and no additional vehicles can be added to that group. This cap is in place to ensure safety, smooth flow on the day, and equal track time for all drivers.

If you’re planning to run with friends, make sure you all book into the same run group early, as availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed later.

Multiple Runs and Passengers

When purchasing driver tickets, you may purchase up to 14 run sessions per order for the same driver and vehicle.

If you plan to take different passengers in different run sessions, each run must be purchased as a separate ticket so the correct passengers can be listed for that session. This is required for safety and insurance purposes.

If the same passengers are participating in all runs, multiple sessions can be purchased together in a single order.

Can I run with my mates?

Yes, but it’s important to plan ahead.

If you want to cruise on track with friends, please make sure you all select the same run group when purchasing tickets. While limited run group changes may be possible on the day, they are subject to availability and marshal approval and cannot be guaranteed.

What if there are delays on the day?

Motorsport events can be affected by delays such as breakdowns, incidents, or safety stoppages.

If this happens:

  • The run order remains the same

  • The program rolls forward

  • Safety always comes first

All run times are subject to venue operating hours.

When is my ticket scanned?

Tickets are scanned at track entry, when the vehicle is released onto the circuit.

  • Tickets are not consumed at venue entry

  • One scan equals one completed run

If your phone is unavailable, staff can manually validate your ticket using your booking details.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. Printed tickets are not required. But will speed up the process if you can print it out and provide it on the day, just the top section.

Please ensure your ticket is accessible on your phone. If your phone is unavailable, staff can validate your entry by name and booking details.

Can I swap run groups on the day?

In some cases, yes.

Run group changes may be accommodated on the day subject to capacity and marshal approval. This is not guaranteed, so choosing the correct run group at purchase is strongly recommended.

What if I miss my run?

Drivers must be present and attentive near staging around their indicative run group time and must follow marshal instructions.

If you are not present when your run group is called, you may miss your run.

Do passengers need to be listed?

Yes. For insurance and safety reasons, all passengers must be declared during ticket purchase, including minors.

Is there a waiver?

Yes. All drivers and passengers must agree to the Waiver, Release and Indemnity as part of the ticket purchase process. This is mandatory.

Is this event suitable for families?

Yes. The event is designed as a family-friendly day out, with a relaxed atmosphere, supporting attractions, and free spectator entry.

When do tickets go on sale?
